Adam and Eve exercised their human will in the Garden, eating the forbidden fruit and separating mankind from God. In another garden, Jesus was faced with a similar temptation; trust and obey the will of the father or chose to act on His own will. By submitting to God’s will, Jesus made it possible for mankind to be reconciled to God.
